Chicago, IL - March 29,2021 - Crash Champions, LLC, one of the nation’s largest independent collision repair companies, announced March 29 the acquisition of Collision Repair Center, Inc. in East Moline, IL, adding to its growing national footprint.

This acquisition strategically follows the company’s 2020 acquisitions of Chicago Collision, DuPage Auto Body and Albany Auto Body in the greater Chicago area, as well as Arnold’s Auto Body, Inc., in nearby Davenport, IA.

In joining the Crash Champions family, Collision Repair Center, with its already extensive list of collision and mechanical repair capabilities, will now enjoy the benefits associated with Crash Champions’ robust infrastructure and systems. This includes, among other strategic and operational resources, the ability to access the latest technology, take advantage of cutting-edge innovation and leverage best-in-class support and processes.

“We look forward to continuing to expand our Illinois footprint in 2021,” said Matt Ebert, founder and CEO of Crash Champions. “As we welcome Collision Repair Center’s facility under the Crash Champions name, we’re again reminded of the importance of honoring our local communities through trusted teams and exceptional services.

"Our success as a larger company has always been rooted in our ability to marry the innovative tools and expertise associated with running a larger enterprise with the operational mindset of a family-run, reliable local shop," Ebert said. "Like Crash Champions, Collision Repair Center began as a single-car shop and has grown over the years thanks to customer trust. We look forward to continuing that legacy.”

Crash Champions is one of the largest independent collision repair companies in America, with more than 900 team members serving locations across the greater-Chicago area; Wisconsin; Davenport, IA; Kansas; Missouri; Ohio; and Southern California.
